  • The Candidate (students) who have Passed Class 10th & are Pursuing Studies in Class 11 to post Graduation (PG) level can apply for this scholarship of Jharkhand.
  • Who can Apply for Scholarship ?
  1. Student must be of Jharkhand State.
  2. Student must be either Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC).
  3. Students Annual Family Income from all sources should not exceed as per the list given below.
    1. Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lacs Fifty thousand only)
    2. Backward Class (BC) Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lac Fifty thousand only)
  • Who cannot Apply for Scholarship ?
    1. Students belonging to the categories other than SC, ST, BC
    2. SC,ST Students whose annual family income is more than Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lacs Fifty thousand). and BC Students whose family income is more than Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One lac Fifty thousand)

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Eligibility Criteria For Jharkhand BSc Nursing (Basic)

  • Only female candidates are eligible to apply for enrollment in B.Sc Nursing (Basic) course
  • Passed intermediate (10+2) with Science [PCB] & English Core/ English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Student appearing in Intermediate (10+2) examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • The student shall be medically fit.

Eligibility Criteria For Jharkhand BSc Nursing (Post Basic)

  • Passed Intermediate OR 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university OR passed 10+1 in or before 1986.
  • Obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurse Registration Council.

For Male Candidate Qualification:-

A male nurse trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a Nurse with State Nurses Registration Council shall produce evidence of training approved by.
Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

  • O.T. Techniques
  • Leprosy Nursing
  • Ophthalmic Nursing
  • Psychiatric Nursing
  • TB Nursing
  • Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
  • Cancer Nursing
  • Community Health Nursing
  • Orthopedic Nursing

  • Applicants who are citizens of India as well as come under the category of local residents of Jharkhand, only they will be considered eligible for enrollment in B.Sc. Nursing institutions.
