How To Fill NTA UGC NET JRF June 2023 Application FormTo fill the NTA UGC NET June 2023 online form, you can follow the below-given steps: Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ Step 2: Click on the “UGC-NET June 2023” link. Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Apply” button. Step 4: Fill in the registration form by providing your name, email id, mobile number, date of birth, and other details. Step 5: After submitting the registration form, you will receive a system-generated application number and password on your registered email ID. Step 6: Login using the application number and password and fill in the online application form with all the necessary details such as educational qualifications, personal details, and other relevant information. Step 7: Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Step 8: Pay the application fee through online mode using a debit card/credit card/net banking/UPI. Step 9: Review the application form and submit it. Step 10: Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference. 1. What is NTA UGC – NET JRF?
Introduction
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards.
Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible to be considered for the award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments, as the case may be for recruitment of Assistant Professor.
