National Testing Agency (NTA) are offered  / invited to apply online application form for NTA Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) / NTA Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) – 2022. GAT-B/BET-2022 exam will be held on 23 April 2022. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2022

• Those Candidate who has either appeared or is due to appear in the final exam of their qualifying degree is eligible to apply for GAT – B 2022, under the result awaited (RA) category.

Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2022

• Bachelors (B.E./ B.Tech.) and Masters (M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.VSc./Integrated M.Sc./ M.Tech) in any discipline of Biotechnology, Life Sciences or any other Allied areas of Biology.

• Gen/OBC : Rs. 1200/-
• SC/ST/PWD : Rs. 600/-
• Both Paper GAT-B / BET
• Gen/OBC : Rs. 2400/-

GAT-B/BET 2022 Exam Pattern

NTA Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology

• Mode of Exam: CBT (Computer Based Test)
• Duration of the Exam: 03 hours
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Marks added for each correct answer: For Section A, 1 mark will be added and for Section B, 03 marks will be added. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, half (1/2 or 0.5) mark will be deducted for Section A & One (01) mark will be deducted for Section B
• Medium of the Exam: English 

NTA Biotechnology Eligibility Test

• Mode of Exam: CBT (Computer Based Test)
• Duration of the Exam: 3 hours
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Marks added for each correct answer: For Section A, 03 mark will be added and for Section B, 03 marks will be added. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, One (01) mark will be deducted for Section A & One (01) mark will be deducted for Section B
• Medium of the Exam: English 

The Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT – B)  /  Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is a National Level Entrance Exam for admission to Department of Biotechnology supported Post Graduate (PG) Programme in Biotechnology & allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT – B) & for award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT – JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).
