JPSC CDPO Vacancy 2023 ELIGIBILITY

  • Bachelor Degree in Any Stream Form A Recognized University.

Selection Process for JPSC CDPO Exam 2023:

  1. Preliminary Written Exam: Candidates will first have to appear for the Preliminary Written Exam, which consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). The questions will be of multiple-choice type, and the duration of each paper will be 2 hours. The medium of the question paper will be in Hindi and English.
  2. Main Written Exam: Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the Main Written Exam. The Main Exam will assess the candidates’ in-depth knowledge and understanding of the relevant subjects. The details of the subjects and the exam pattern will be provided in the official notification.
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the Main Written Exam will be called for an Interview. The Interview will carry a weightage of 50 marks. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the candidate’s personality traits, communication skills, and suitability for the role of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO).
  4. Document Verification: After the Interview, candidates who successfully clear all the stages will be required to undergo document verification. This process ensures the authenticity of the candidate’s educational qualifications, age proof, category certificates, and other relevant documents submitted during the application process.
  5. Other Processes: Apart from the stages mentioned above, there may be additional processes such as a physical fitness test or medical examination, depending on the specific requirements of the recruitment.

JPSC CDPO Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2023:

Preliminary Examination:

Both question papers will consist of objective type (multiple choice questions).

  • The medium of the question paper will be in Hindi and English.
  • Each paper will have a duration of 2 hours.
  • Blind candidates will be provided an additional twenty minutes for each paper.

Syllabus – Paper 1: General Studies (100 marks)

  • Indian History and Indian National Movement.
  • Geography of India and the World.
  • Indian Polity and Economy.
  • History, Geography, Economy, and Culture of Jharkhand.

Syllabus – Paper 2: General Studies (100 marks)

  • Important current events of the state, country, and the world.
  • General Science: No specialized knowledge is required in this section. The information is expected to be known by a well-educated person.
  • General Mental Ability: Reasoning and Analytical Ability.
